Rupa Dachere is an accomplished Senior Executive, Advisor, and Thought Leader with more than 25 years of success across the technology and nonprofit industries. Her broad areas of expertise include executive management, leadership, product management, innovation, and software engineering. Rupa holds a leadership position as the CEO, Founder & President of Thrive-WiSE (formerly CodeChix). She is the creator and director of MicroConferences (formerly, DevPulseCon), a state of the art hyper technical and cultural conference that welcomes women, as well as, transgender/gender non-conforming engineers/PM's and male allies to discuss industry topics, attend hands-on open source developer workshops, and panels on workplace issues. MicroConferences will celebrate its 8th year in 2022 with 2 conferences in Q1 and Q3. Rupa is the creator of the avant-garde Thrive-WiSE Safe Space™ (patent pending) and Ally Training for Engineers and Product/Program/Project Managers in R&D - a state-of-the-art program targeted at improving the workplace for the advancement of technical women. She has piloted the Safe Space & Ally training program at a Fortune 100 company and launched it in 2021 for general availability. She has also formed a partnership with SRI International that allows Thrive-WiSE members to work with the institute's scientists to create and contribute to open-source projects in AI, cybersecurity, data science, and machine learning. Rupa has grown her business over 250% in 3 years after she quit her full time job in 2019 to pursue building her startup nonprofit.
