Kai has been programming Internet systems for around 20 years and has a love of distributed systems. Recently he has worked with various container technology companies, mainly in the storage space. He has spoken at various conferences including Kubecon and was part of the team that implemented the very first iteration of Docker storage plugins. His preferred toolkit consists of Kubernetes, Docker, golang and node.js - he is also a capable frontend engineer. In his spare time he likes to race cars and ski.
